A message from the Co-directers of TranZitions Consulting
Welcome, if you are reading this you may be exploring our services. We, Sonia Dickson and Robin Shipley, Codirect TranZitions Consulting. We started our consulting company in 2017, to use our collective experience to benefit individuals seeking support as a result of a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders and or other neurodiverse profiles such as individuals diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and Learning challenges.
We are aware there is a significant variance in the impact any one of the diagnoses mentioned have on an individual.
TranZitions Consulting was designed and developed to meet the needs of individuals who are focused on:
The transition from high school to employment
The transition from high school and preparation needed to access and navigate college
The individual seeking employment who is motivated to identify what work they would enjoy, what soft and hard skills they want to develop and how to access competitive employment
The individual who feels their life is not what they want it to be currently and they are seeking ways to identify personal goals, explore self advocacy, decision making and understand what it is they would life their life to look like and how to get there

Identifying the hurdles to diversifying and creating a more inclusive workforce
Understanding and providing training for managers, staff and human resource departments on the process of taking declared diversity, equity and inclusion goals into an action plan
Seeking ways to embrace a diverse workforce and attract, hire and provide ongoing support for employees who identify as neurodiverse. Including, application of accommodations and raising the awareness of their managers and human resource departments to the supports that benefit neurodiverse employees

TranZitions Consulting was designed and developed to meet the needs of families and caregivers who are focused on:
Identifying what the family unit and or caregiver can do to raise their own awareness and support for a loved one who identifies as neurodiverse, has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD and or anxiety
Families and or caregivers seeking strategies and plans for their teen transitioning out of the school system and into the world of adulting, college and employment
Tranzitions Services are all individualized, this means that every person is unique, every situation and need is different, we do not feel a cookie cutter approach is effective. We prefer to meet with you, assess with you your needs and create realistic and useful practical and applicable supports, programing and training.
